Minty Fresh

Sweater: Eileen Fisher (old, but similar here). Skirt: H&M (old, but similar color here). Shoes: Alexander Wang (old, but similar here). Clutch: BCBG (old). Necklace: Johnny Ramli and Tiffany & Co.

Mint chocolate chip has long held its place in my heart as my favorite ice cream. Those who share my affinity for this flavor know that there are some brands that make it in a white color. I don’t know if it has anything to do with the actual taste, but I’m very particular about my frozen treat being green. With that in mind, it may be why I was so drawn to this romantic, sheer, pleated skirt. The mint green looks so fresh and so clean, clean!

For the high midsummer temperatures in New York on Sunday, I wanted to pair this breezy ankle-length garment with an equally effortless top. It was the perfect opportunity to wear this lightweight Eileen Fisher sweater for the first time. My good friend Simone (see: Style Therapy) gifted me with this versatile separate a few weeks ago, and I was itching to wear it out on the town. Add a coral clutch for a fun pop of color and ground the look with neutral shoes, and I’m ready for my favorite meal of the week…brunch. Followed by two scoops of mint chocolate chip ice cream, of course!
